English champion Warning, who started at stud at Khalid Abdullah's Banstead Manor Farm in England before being sold to the Japan Racing Association in 1996, died of acute heart failure at the Japan Bloodhorse Breeders' Association's Shizunai Stud.Warning, a champion in England all three years he raced, won eight of 14 races and earned $937,280. His six stakes wins in England included scores in the group I Swettenham Stud Sussex Stakes and Queen Elizabeth II Stakes. He raced once in France, running second in a group I event. In his sole U.S. start, Warning finished unplaced as the 9-5 favorite in the 1988 Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT).
