Dubai Millennium Tops International Classifications

Godolphin Racing's Dubai Millennium, the impressive six-length winner of the Dubai World Cup, has been accorded top weight of 134 on the International Classifications announced in London Wednesday.

The son of Seeking the Gold was rated two pounds above Arc de Triomphe winner Sinndar, the top 3-year-old on the list at 132 pounds. Dubai Millennium, described by Godolphin Racing owner Sheikh Mohammed as "the best horse I have ever been associated with," also won the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Ascot and was being aimed at the Breeders' Cup Classic when he was injured and retired prior to the Prix Jacques le Marois.

Among horses trained in the U.S. on the International Classification, sprinter Kona Gold and Kentucky Derby winner Fusaichi Pegasus both were rated at 127 pounds. That placed Kona Gold behind only Dubai Millennium and Montjeu (130 pounds) on the older horse list and Fusaichi Pegasus' weight assignment exceeded only by Sinndar.
