First Winner for Champion Boston Harbor

Champion Boston Harbor was represented by his first winner when Twin Sails led from start to finish in Thursday's third race at Monmouth Park. The homebred racing for W. T. Young's Overbrook Farm and trained by Hall of Famer D. Wayne Lukas race the five furlongs in :59.51 to win by one length as the 5-1 third choice in the field of nine 2-year-old fillies.

Produced from the Secretariat mare Navajo Pass, Twin Sails is one of three starters to date from the first crop of Boston Harbor, the 1996 champion 2-year-old colt. A son of capote who earned $1.9 million, Boston Harbor stands at his owner's Overbrook Farm near Lexington, Ky.
