Jockey Club press release

Presentations dealing with racing's leading issues of marketing,
integrity and the freedom to compete will be spotlighted when "The Jockey Club Round Table Conference on Matters Pertaining to Racing" convenes at the Sheraton Hotel in Saratoga Springs, Sunday, August 19.

The subject of achieving meaningful national sponsorships will be
addressed by Jim Host, chief executive officer of Lexington, Kentucky-based Host Communications.

The issue of integrity will be covered by a report from the NTRA Task Force on Racing Integrity and Drug Testing, which will include preliminary findings and recommendations arising from the "Supertest" program.

Analysis and recommendations on effectively addressing areas of
over-regulation will be provided by Lou Guth, senior vice president,
National Economic Research Associates.

The Conference opens with the traditional welcome by The Jockey Club chairman, Ogden Mills Phipps, followed by a "Report of the Activities of The Jockey Club," presented by The Jockey Club executive vice president and chief financial officer, Alan Marzelli.

An "NTRA Annual Report to the Round Table" will then be delivered by NTRA commissioner and CEO, Tim Smith, and NTRA vice chairman and Breeders' Cup president, D. G. Van Clief, Jr.
