Worth Repeating

In what looks to be a series:
"Your sister-in-law saved my butt. I guess that trip to the grocery store was a blessing."--Chip Miller on the last minute ride to the airport from Sam Clancy

"A full page color add would do."--The Saratoga Special's new standard answer to "Can I do something for you?"

"And we're still waiting for the second horse."--Announcer Tom Durkin after Summer Colony crossed the wire 32 lengths clear in Friday's sixth race

Late Nights in Saratoga:

We'll protect the guilty and give them to you anonymously

"What did it rain?"--Late night reveler and slow riser who spent all day Friday in Saratoga

"You know you're doing good when you ask for a drink to go." --An evidently thirsty bar closer

Did you notice?

The two kids who occasionally show up sitting to the inside of the starting gate, usually in a six-furlong dirt race. Who are they anyway?

The saddle towel on Dancethruthedawn in the Queen's Plate. The middle R and U were mixed up. Made her name Dancethurthedawn. Now try to say that ten times fast.
