Intidab to Wycombe House Stud

Graded stakes winner Intidab will stand the 2002 season at Wycombe House Stud near Redding, Fla.

The son of Phone Trick stood his first season earlier this year at Shadwell Farm near Lexington, Ky. While the stallion had over 50 mares booked to him, he was able to cover only 15 because of recurring problems with the sesamoids in his left hind leg. Intidab was retired from racing because he cracked his sesamoids while training.

Sean Kelly, owner of Wycombe House, said the stallion has recovered.

Intidab won the 1999 A Phenomenon Handicap (gr. II), in which he beat Artax and Yes It's True in 1:09.03. He also won the True North Stakes (gr. II) and finished second in the Forego Handicap (gr. II) and the A.G. Vanderbilt Handicap (gr. II).

"We believe his speed and breeding are ideal for the Florida marketplace," Kelly said. Intidab's 2002 stud fee will be $6,000.
