Edward P. Evans' Raging Fever defeated Cat Cay by two lengths to win the $100,000 First Lady Handicap (gr. III) for fillies and mares at Gulfstream Park on Friday. Raging Fever, with John Velazquez aboard for trainer John Hennig, ran six furlongs in 1:10 2/5 and paid $5.20, $2.80 and $2.20. Cat Cay paid $2.60 and $2.10, while Mandy's Gold paid $2.40 to show. Raging Fever, a 4-year old daughter of Storm Cat, has won seven of 10 races, earning $746,705.
