"It's to set up our yearlings and have enough stalls to handle our overflow," he said. "It gives us long-term security that we have the land we need. It's a bit of a leap of faith--we're anticipating future needs and hopefully we can grow into the extra capacity."
John G. Sikura has added 205 acres to his Hill 'n' Dale Farm near Lexington. Sikura purchased undeveloped acreage on the Northwest corner of Hill 'n' Dale from Corman-McQueen Golf.Sikura said he plans to build a complex on the acreage where he will prepare horses for auction. It is slated to include walkers and a round pen, and will have horses on it this spring.
