Amerman Racing Stables' No Slip rallied from last place in a five-horse field to win Saturday's $155,000 Golden Gate Breeders' Cup Handicap (gr. IIIT) at Golden Gate Fields. The 11-10 favorite passed Kerrygold in the stretch en route to the two-length victory. Under Kent Desormeaux, the Bobby Frankel trainee completed the 1 1/8 miles in 1:49.41 on firm turf.Kerrygold finished second, two lengths ahead of Sumitas. Poker Brad and Devine Wind completed the order of finish.No Slip is by French group I winner Exit to Nowhere and out of Slipstream Queen (by Conquistador Cielo, making him a half-brother of Grand Prix de Paris (Fr-I) winner Slickly. Saturday's race was his first start since finishing ninth in the Frank E. Kilroe Mile Handicap (gr. IIT) in his 4-year-old debut and his first win since taking the Oak Tree Derby (gr. IIT) in his second American start. He made his first four career starts in France, where he won a maiden race and finished third in the Prix de Pontarme.
