An agreement reached Monday will allow The Racing Network International (TRNI) to broadcast the Kentucky Derby live in the United Kingdom. According to a Sporting Life report, TRNI will also broadcast Friday's Kentucky Oaks."We are thrilled to be showing the Kentucky Derby live and we're also able to show the Kentucky Oaks live on Friday night," George Irvine -- director of programming for The Racing Network, TRNI's parent company -- told Sporting Life. "We have negotiated hard to get the rights for the Kentucky Derby, and we expect a big audience after the success we had showing the Breeders' Cup."Irish-based horses Castle Gandolfo and Johannesburg are slated to run in the Kentucky Derby, while Godolphin, an international stable with a high profile in Europe, has Essence of Dubai in the Derby and Imperial Gesture in the Oaks.
