Just James Gives Noseda First Royal Ascot Win

Running back on just a few days rest, Just James won the Jersey Stakes (Eng-III) Wednesday during the Royal Ascot meeting.

The 3-year-old colt by Spectrum ran fourth at York on June 15 in the William Hill Trophy, then four days later won the Jersey Stakes by a neck over Steenberg. Just James ran the seven furlongs in 1:27.19.

Just James is owned by Lucayan Stud and trained by Jeremy Noseda. He was ridden by Olivier Peslier. It was the first win at Royal Ascot for Noseda.

Just James (Spectrum--Fairy Flight, by Fairy King) has won two of five start, all in England.

Meshaheer was third and Ho Choi fourth in the 15-horse field.
