Saratoga's Lake George Stakes Matches Even Field

Sylelistick is the 122-pound top weight for Monday's $100,000 Lake George Stakes (gr. III) at Saratoga, heading an evenly matched field of 11 competitors.

The Lake George is for 3-year-old fillies going 1 1/16-miles on the Mellon turf course.

A winner of three of five races, including a pair of stakes victories, since coming to the barn of trainer Bill Mott, Stylelistick is coming off of a third-place finish in the Regret Stakes. She will attempt to give Mott his first victory in the Lake George, one of the few Saratoga turf races to elude him.

Stylelistick, owned by Team Valor Stables and ridden by Jerry Bailey, drew the number 3 post position. She'll race with Lasix for the first time.

Guana figures prominently for trainer Elliott Walden following a 4 1/4 length win in the Flawlessly at Arlington Park in her most recent try. She has won two of three starts for Walden after racing in France. Guana drew the outside post and is ridden by Pat Day.

Robert Frankel sends two postward. Nanatall, ridden by Jorge Chavez for owner Edmund A. Gann, who is coming off an allowance win at Belmont, and Maita, ridden by Javier Castellano.

Dogwood Stable's Smok'n Frolic, trained by Todd Pletcher and ridden by John Velazquez, is a likely contender. Mariensky will be making her North American debut for trainer Christophe Clement after racing competitively in Europe in Group 1 races.
