The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame will be holding its second annual "Guests in the Gallery" program at 11 a.m. on Aug. 7. The 3-part panel program is designed to give fans and other interested observers an inside view of racing and the opportunity to meet key people involved in the sport.
The featured guests on Aug. 7 will be jockeys: Pat Day, Hall of Famer, 12 Breeders' Cup victories, more than 8000 career victories; Richard Migliore, more than 3500 career victories, nine riding titles at Aqueduct; Gus Brown, leading steeplechase rider in 2001, rode Eclipse Champion Pompeyo; and Jose Santos, Eclipse Award winner in 1988, winning jockey of Belmont Stakes in 1999
Participants scheduled to appear on Aug.14 will be trainers, while Aug. 21 will include horse care providers. This panel will consist of a blacksmith, a horse veterinarian, and a masseuse.
