Taylor Made also announced that the fee for Unbridled's Song is being raised to $100,000 from $75,000 and that Saint Ballado's fee will drop to $75,000 from $125,000. Taylor Made's newest stallion, champion Real Quiet, will stand for $10,000. Real Quiet was moved to Taylor Made from Tom Simon's Vinery near Lexington, where he stood last year for $15,000. Taylor Made also will keep Forestry at $50,000.
Our Emblem, whose popularity rose to new heights after his son War Emblem won this year's Kentucky Derby (gr. I) and Preakness Stakes (gr. I), will stand for $35,000 in 2003 at the Taylor family's Taylor Made Farm near Nicholasville, Ky. The 11-year-old son of Mr. Prospector was purchased in the spring by Taylor Made in partnership with Bill Casner and Kenny Troutt's WinStar Farm from a partnership managed by E. Allen Murray Jr. and his wife, Audrey. The Murrays had bought Our Emblem last fall from the Hancock family's Claiborne Farm for stallion duty at their Murmur Farm near Darlington, Md.
