Topping the evening's sales was a piece by Old Trieste, bought by Gary Biszantz for $5,000. Other works fetching top prices were Kentucky Derby (gr. I) winner Monarchos at $4,500, Belmont Stakes (gr. I) winner Victory Gallop at $4,200, Albert the Great and dual Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) winner Tiznow at $4,000. Champion mares Hidden Lake and Beautiful Pleasure at $3,000 and $3,200 respectively.
"Funding for charities has been harder to come by in the past year," said Lori Neagle, ReRun co-founder Lori Neagle. "So we are thrilled to have come up with a fun, lighthearted way to raise money which ReRun so desperately needs to continue our work of Thoroughbred adoption."
