After the first one hundred hip numbers at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall Yearling sale, a filly from the family of Dancethruthedawn, hip #77, has brought the highest price of $300,000. Dinwiddie Farm bought the Kris S. filly who is out of a full unraced sister to Dance Smartly, Dance Swiftly (Danzig--Classy 'n Smart, by Smarten). Craig Bandoroff consigned the filly in the name of his Denali Stud. She was bred in Kentucky by WinStar Farm and had not been sold at auction previously. Grade I winner Dancethruthedawn is a daughter of Mr. Prospector and Dance Smartly. She was recently retired after suffering an injury. Last year she was Canada's champion 3-year-old filly. She raced for her breeder, Sam-Son Farms.
