Silver Season to Brunacini Farms in New Mexico

Multiple stakes winner Silver Season will enter stud at Dr. Kay Thurman and Richard Brunacini's Brunacini Farms near Belen, N.M., for a fee of $3,000. A 6-year-old son of Silver Ghost, Silver Season won five of 22 starts and earned $463,485 for Buckram Oak Farm.

Silver Season, who was produced from the Chief's Crown mare Rae Rafko, captured three stakes at Calder Race Course, winning the 1999 Smile Sprint Handicap and Carry Back Stakes and the 2000 Groomstick Handicap. He placed in four stakes, three of which were graded.

Brunacini Farms bought Silver Season from Buckram Oaks and plans to syndicate him.
