Trust N Luck Works at Gulfstream

Einar P. Robsham's Trust N Luck, one of the leading candidates for the $200,000 Fountain of Youth Stakes (gr. I) for 3-year-olds at 1 1/16 miles at Gulfstream on Feb. 15, worked between races at Gulfstream on Wednesday.

Trainer Ralph Ziadie had the double stakes-winning colt work after the fifth race on the racing program.

With jockey Cornelio Velasquez in the saddle, Trust N Luck stopped the teletimer in :59 4/5 going in fractions of :23 3/5 for the quarter and :48 for the half-mile.

"I was very happy with the workout and very pleased with the way he handled the track," Ziadie said. "That was the purpose of bringing him over (from Calder Race Course) this afternoon. He's never been on this track before and I wanted him to get a feel of it before he raced on it."
