Edited Release From Emirates Racing Association

Godolphin's Sulamani and Grandera head a list of outstanding runners entered for Dubai's inaugural Super Saturday at Nad Al Sheba, the preview for the Dubai World Cup meeting held three weeks later. Sulamani and Grandera are both entered in third round of the Al Maktoum Challenge (UAE-II) and are also entered in the two turf programs on the card.

Sulamani was supplemented for the Dubai City of Gold (UAE-III), the major prep for the Dubai Sheema Classic (UAE-I). Grandera is entered for the Jebel Hatta (UAE-III), the main prep for the Dubai Duty Free (UAE-I).

The 2002 UAE Derby winner Essence of Dubai is cross-entered in the third round of the Al Maktoum Challenge as well as the Burj Nahaar.

The South African mare Ipi Tombre, the impressive winner of the Al Fahidi Fort on her Emirates debut, head a strong cast of international entries for the Jebel Hatta which also include the Gerard Butler-trained pair of Common World and Compton Dragon and the Dermont Weld-trained One More Round and Afgnoyoh and Passport Pride from the stables of Kevin McAuliffe in Saudi Arabia.

Victory Moon will be challenged by the Godolphin entries of Al Saqaar and Parhelion in the Al Bastakiya. Also entered is Rodeno, trained by Jerry Barton in Saudi Arabia, and Impaciente GG, now trained in Dubai by Aditiyan Selvaratnam.
