Millionaire Riviera, winner of the 2000 Atto Mile Stakes (Can-IT), has been purchased by Rex and Gerald Fell's Fairdale Stud for stallion duty in New Zealand. The 9-year-old son of Kris out of the Nureyev mare Manureva will stand for $5,000 (plus GST).Riviera overcame the No. 13 post to win the Atto Mile in 1:33.18. His other stakes wins came in Southern California in the Morvich Handicap (gr. IIIT) and the Wickerr Handicap on grass.
