Smok'n Frolic Tries for Millionaire's Club in Next Move

Dogwood Stable's multiple Grade 2 winner Smok'n Frolic will look to gain millionaire status when she takes on six rivals as the 120-pound highweight in the $100,000 Next Move Handicap (gr. III) at Aqueduct Sunday.

Smok'n Frolic enters the 1 1/8 miles contest with six wins in 16 starts for trainer Todd Pletcher and career earnings of $954,044. The 4-year-old daughter of Smoke Glacken won the Vessels Stallion Farm Distaff Stakes in January at Santa Anita Park in her seasonal bow and enters off a distant second-place finish to Allamerican Bertie in the Rampart Handicap (gr. II) at Gulfstream Park March 1.

The main challenge to Smok'n Frolic could come from John and Joan Phillips' Ellie's Moment. The 5-year-old daughter of Kris S. exits a victory in the Feb. 19 Rare Treat Handicap at Aqueduct, which was her first career stakes win in four seasons of racing. Trained by James Toner, Ellie's Moment has won six of 12 career starts and has earned $254,641.
