Double Honor Filly Sets Pace At OBS Under Tack Show

Wonderful Honor zipped three eighths in :33 3/5 Saturday to post the fastest work at the distance during the fourth and final session of the under tack show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's April sale of 2-year-olds in training. Consigned by Farnsworth Farms, agent, the bay daughter of Double Honor is out of T.G. for Wanda (by Fortunate Prospect), a half sister to graded winner What a Diplomat. The work was also fastest at the distance for the entire under tack show.

Two youngsters shared honors for the session's fastest eighth, stopping the timer in :10 1/5. One is Too Much Cat, a dark bay or brown filly by Sir Cat out of Toosalty (by Sale Lake). She is consigned by Kings Equine, agent. The other is a Wild Zone filly out of Appealing Jeanne (by Valid Appeal). A half-sister to stakes winner Answer To Me, the gray or roan filly is consigned by Eddie Woods, agent.

Two horses turned in the session's fastest quarter mile with a :21 1/5 clocking. One is Found Gold, a West Acre filly consigned by Eisaman Equine, agent. The dark bay or brown filly is out of Spring Bo (by Big Burn), a daughter of stakes winner Mayflower Ann. The other, consigned by M & H Training & Sales, agent, is Sahara Wind. She is a dark bay or brown filly by Wild Wonder out of Teen's Balloon (by Grub), a half-sister to stakes winner Cash's Pride.

The April sale is scheduled to run from Tuesday through Friday. All sessions are continuous and begin at 10:30 a.m. (EDT).
