Plenty of Green Fillies in CTBA Stakes Friday

A group of 10 2-year-old California bred fillies, including two first-time starters, was entered in Friday's $125,000 California Thoroughbred Breeders Association Stakes. The fillies will run 5 1/2 furlongs on the main track.

Leading the field as high weights at 121 pounds are Blowing Bartok, runner-up in her only career start; maiden winner Dirty Diana; and Smoke Break, who won at first asking and then came back to finish second in the Cinderella Stakes at Hollywood Park June 8.

Making their racing debuts are Garden Whimsy and Anearlyfil.
