Dogwood Stable's multiple graded stakes winner Windsor Castle has been sidelined due to an injury sustained in an allowance race at Saratoga and the 5-year-old horse's career plans are indefinite.According to a statement from Dogwood president Cot Campbell, the son of Lord Carson -- Frigidette (It's Freezing) has a small lesion in his left front tendon, apparently sustained in a July 23 allowance at Saratoga."He has a small lesion in his left front tendon. This will be re-scanned in thirty days to ascertain his suitability for a return to racing this winter," Campbell said. "We would like to race him next year, but he does have stallion potential and we will certainly weigh the situation carefully in the fall when we re-scan the horse" Campbell said.
