Saratoga Auction to Benefit TRF Set for Monday

Stallion seasons and an intriguing list of "life experiences" will be auctioned at the Saratoga Golf and Polo Club Monday night as a fundraiser for the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation.

Up for bid will be 2004 stallion seasons for Carson City or Cat Thief, compliments of Overbrook Farm; Cherokee Run (Darley and J. Mack Robinson), Deputy Commander (Stonerside Stable), Distorted Humor (Winstar Farm), Lemon Drop Kid (Lane's End Farm), Montbrook (Ocala Stud), and Silver Deputy (Windfields Farm).

A season to Mineshaft, who is still in training but will be retired to Lane's End for the 2004 breeding season, will also be auctioned.

About 400 people attended last year's auction and about $300,000 was raised for the TRF.

A Speaking Part on Law & Order
Play the role of the jury foreperson and read the verdict on the Emmy Award winning NBC-TV show Law & Order and spend a day on the New York City set with the cast and crew. With syndication on TNT, think of the exposure...Shooting takes place August to April. Visit to the set for 2 people, the part is for one person. Must be ready to appear on the Chelsea Piers, New York set within a day's notice, be a U.S. citizen and be over 21 years old.
