Wonder Again Faces Five in WinStar Galaxy

Joan and John Phillips' Wonder Again, fresh off a game victory in the Noble Damsel Handicap (gr. IIIT) at Belmont Park, will face five rivals in the $500,000 WinStar Galaxy (gr. IIT) to be run Sunday on the Keeneland turf course.

The daughter of Silver Hawk is conditioned by James Toner and will be ridden by Edgar Prado, who was aboard for her New York score, in the 1 3/16-mile event.

Trainer Donnie Von Hemel-shipped Bien Nicole to Keeneland from Arlington Park for the WinStar Galaxy. Runnerup to Breeders' Cup hopeful Heat Haze in the Beverly D. (gr. IT) in her last start, the daughter of Bien Bien has dangerous early speed and will be tough to run down if left alone on the lead. Her regular rider Don Pettinger will join her once again.

International competitor Approach (GB) arrived on Wednesday from Great Britain to contest the WinStar Galaxy. Winner of the Lord Weinstock Memorial Stakes this year, the daughter of top stallion Darshaan should be finishing fast in the lane. Her trainer, Sir Mark Prescott has secured the services of Jerry Bailey.
