Trained by William Morey, the 3-year-old Iron Cat colt stalked the leaders down the backstretch as Con Quixote set the pace of :22 1/5 and :44 2/5 before giving way to Green Team, the 8-5 choice ridden by Ron Warren Jr. Trapper, with three lengths to make up down the lane, shifted out for the drive and collared Green Team in the final strides.
