A champion and classic winner of the Belmont Stakes (gr. I), Victory Gallop's first foals are 2-year-olds this year.Gross sales totaled $8,690,000 for 270 horses during Sunday's session. The average was $32,185 and the median $25,000. At the corresponding session a year ago, 256 horses brought $6,760,000, an average of $26,406 and a median of $20,000.
Through seven sessions, 1661 horses have been sold for $222,629,500, an average of $134,033 and a median of $55,000. At this point in last year's sale, 1,654 horses had been sold for $178,007,100.
