Miss Linda concluded her racing career with a third-place finish in the Nov. 1 Turnback the Alarm Handicap (gr. III) at Aqueduct.Miss Linda will arrive at the Taylor family's Taylor Made Farm near Nicholasville, Ky., on Nov. 11.
Grade I winner Miss Linda has been retired from racing and will be bred to Unbridled's Song. Miss Linda retires with a career record of 21-8-2-6. She earned $870,000."We were blessed to race such a classy filly," said co-owner Leland Ackerly, who raced the mare in partnership with his brother, Robert. "We bought her sight unseen based on the recommendations of John Fulton and John Kimmel. She gave us a lot of thrills, but her win in the Spinster was probably the greatest."Miss Linda earned championship 3-year-old filly honors in her native Argentina in 2000 before relocating to the United States. In North America, she scored her most impressive win in the 2001 Overbrook Spinster Stakes (gr. I) at Keeneland.
