Irgun to Three Way Farm in Illinois

Irgun, a 12-year-old son of Sunny's Halo, will stand the 2004 breeding season at Three Way Farm near Nashville, Ill. The grade I winner previous stood at John T.L. Jones' Walmac International near Lexington. His 2004 stud fee will be $1,250 live foal.

Irgun, winner of the 1994 Wood Memorial Stakes (gr. I), defeating eventual Kentucky Derby (gr. I) winner Go for Gin, won three of five starts and earned $476,975. He also won the one-mile Gotham Stakes (gr. III).

Out of the unraced Secretariat mare, Late From Lunch, Irgun is the sire of four stakes winners: Irguns Angel, winner of the A Gleam Handicap (gr. II); Brief Embrace, a grade III winner in Australia; Gal on the Go; and Ruffena.

Irgun will join a stallion roster at Three Way that consists of Conte di Savoya, Diazo, Nassau Hall, and Pleasant Minstrel.
