Stakes-placed Seeking Greatness, who ran the fastest 5 1/2 furlongs at Aqueduct in 2001, will enter stud at Dave Ferguson's Diamond F Ranch Thoroughbreds near Grass Valley, Calif. He will stand for a syndicate for $4,000 live foal.

A son of Seeking the Gold, Seeking Greatness opened his career with 1:03.08 score at 5 1/2 furlongs at Aqueduct and later was stakes-placed at Delaware Park. He won two of six races and earned $61,728.

Four-year-old Seeking Greatness, who was produced from the Hero's Honor mare Touch of Greatness, is a half-brother to successful sire Elusive Quality and Irish champion Rossini. All three are Mr. Prospector grandsons. A half-sister sold for $3.8 million at this year's Keeneland September yearling sale.
