Terri Battle has been named Membership Manager of the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association.
Battle represents the fourth generation of her family to serve the Thoroughbred industry. As the daughter of Howard and Daisy Battle, her childhood was spent on many of the nation's prominent racing circuits.
Upon returning to Lexington in 1998, following a career in retail, Battle assisted Ben Haggin in raising awareness of the Thoroughbred industry in Washington D.C. via the NTRA's Legislative Action Campaign.
A graduate of Auburn University, Battle has been successful with Carter's Children's wear in marketing, sales and design, and design for Victoria's Secret at Mast Industries.
"We are very pleased that Terri has joined TOBA," said Dan Metzger, president of TOBA. "Her experience and enthusiasm is a welcome addition to our organization and she will serve our members well."
