Afternoon Deelites to Clear Creek in Louisiana

Airdrie Stud announced that millionaire Afternoon Deelites will move to Clear Creek Stud near Folsom, La., for the 2004 breeding season. Airdrie owner Brereton Jones said, "We are pleased to establish a working relationship with one of Louisiana's best farms. The Louisiana Breeders' program has really taken off with the approval of slots at their tracks. With the success that Afternoon Deelites has enjoyed he should do exceptionally well in their program and will most probably be at the head of the class."

Afternoon Deelites has sired nine stakes winners. Four of them are 2003 stakes winners, including 2-year-old fillies Homemaker and Lovely Afternoon. His earlier stakes winners include grade II winners Deeliteful Irving and Miss Pickums.
