He was claimed for $40,000 from Michael Gill at Hollywood Park on Dec. 20. Glick was not claimed Monday.Ridden by Gary Stevens, Glick took dead aim at pacesetter F J's Pace while racing four wide into the stretch and won clear under a long hold. F J's Pace set some blistering early fractions (:21 2/5, :43 1/5) before giving way and finishing third, two lengths behind the 7-5 favorite Special Rate.Bred in Kentucky by Allen E. Paulson, Glick was produced from the Mr. Prospector mare Bejat. He won for the 12th time in a 33-race career in which he has banked $467,431.Glick had been based in the east until joining the Nick Canani barn at Hollywood Park in November.The 3-1 second choice in a field of seven, he returned $8.20 for the win.
