II) for 3-year-old fillies Saturday at Gulfstream Park.Trainer Bobby Frankel shipped Miss Coronado to Gulfstream along with Medaglia d'Oro for Saturday's Donn Handicap (gr. I). Miss Coronado, just a maiden winner in her second start Jan. 4 at nine furlongs at Santa Anita, responded with a head victory over Eye Dazzler, who was a neck in front of 4-5 favorite Society Selection. Last Song was another neck behind in fourth. The final time for the 1 1/16-mile test on a fast track was 1:44 3/5.With Cornelio Velasquez aboard, he dark bay daughter of Coronado's Quest clipped off fractions of :24 2/5, :49 and 1:14. Under a heavy challenge from the other three contenders in the stretch, she was all out while registering a courageous win.
