Jenny Wiley Features Film Maker, Frankel Filly

(from Keeneland report)
Sunday's $100,000-added Jenny Wiley Stakes (gr. IIIT), which drew a field of eight tough fillies and mares to the 1 1/16-mile turf test, features trainer Bobby Frankel's first starter of the Keeneland spring meeting.

Courtlandt Farm's Film Maker, who won the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Challenge Cup at Keeneland last fall, could be favored. The daughter of Dynaformer has been in the money in nine of her ten lifetime starts. The Jenny Wiley Stakes marks her 2004 debut but the H. Graham Motion-trained miss has run well fresh in the past. Edgar Prado, who rides her best, has the call.

Frankel has been unusually quiet at the spring meeting. Intercontinental will be his initial 2004 starter here. Winner of her American debut at Santa Anita last month, the daughter of Danehill had a solid record in Europe before joining the Frankel stable. Hall of Fame jockey Jerry Bailey will don the world famous green, pink and white silks of Prince Khalid Abdullah's Juddmonte Farm.

Betz, Humphrey and Seelbinder's Coney Kitty is fresh from her Hillsborough Stakes win at Tampa Bay Downs. The ultra-consistent daughter of Lycius is always charging late. Trainer James Toner will give a leg-up to Jose Santos, who was aboard for her Hillsborough victory.
