Juddmonte Farm to Host 2004 TOBA Awards Dinner

The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association's 2004 National Awards Dinner will be held Sept. 10 at Prince Khalid Abdullah's Juddmonte Farms near Lexington.

Now in its 19th year, the TOBA Awards honor the achievements of Thoroughbred owners in the four major North American racing regions, and breeders in 26 states. Also honored at the dinner are National Breeders of the Year, National Owner of the Year, recipient of the Industry Service Award, and New Owner of the Year presented by The Greatest Game.

"Juddmonte is proud to be host of the TOBA's National Awards Dinner, which highlights the accomplishments of owners and breeders from around the country," said Dr. John Chandler, president of Juddmonte Farms.

"It is a great honor and privilege to be associated with Juddmonte, one of the premier farms in the world," TOBA president Dan Metzger said. "It will be a spectacular setting for what promises to be a special evening for our sport."

Entertainment for the evening will be Three Dog Night, which has had seven number one hits and 21 consecutive top-40 hits.
