HRTV (www.hr.tv) is a 24-hour television network providing up to 15 hours per day of wire-to-wire coverage of live horse racing action from Thoroughbred, Harness and Quarter Horse racetracks in the United States, Canada, Australia, and around the world.
HorseRacing TV (HRTV) will give Thoroughbred racing fans a front row seat on the Smarty Jones bandwagon with special live coverage of trainer John Servis' news conferences on Friday May 21, Saturday May 22, and Monday, May 24. HRTV will air the press conferences--all scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. ET (8 a.m. PT)--in their entirety from Philadelphia Park. The network will continue to show odds and results throughout the news sessions; any races that go off during the press conferences will be replayed immediately after HRTV's special coverage is concluded. "The Smarty Jones story has captured the imagination of the entire country," said Amy J. Zimmerman, executive producer of HorseRacing TV. "When the opportunity arose to televise John Servis' press conferences, we felt an obligation to find a way to provide them to our viewers without negatively impacting our regular coverage."
