Foley Elected President of Blue Grass Farms Chaplaincy

David L. Foley, executive director of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, was elected president of Blue Grass Farms Chaplaincy.

Foley replaces the chaplaincy's inaugural president, Lonny Powell, who will continue his service on the board as secretary. Remi Bellocq, executive director of the National HBPA, will hold the office of treasurer. In addition, Bill Thomas, assistant vice president of marketing and sales for Rector-Hayden Realtors, joined the board.

"I am both honored and humbled to be elected BGFC president," said Foley. "With so many people committed to its success, I have no doubt that this ministry will grow and prosper. I look forward to being a part of such a needed service to the farms of Central Kentucky and to serve this ministry in any small way that I can to help make a difference in people's lives."

Blue Grass Farms Chaplaincy is a not-for-profit outreach ministry dedicated to serving the spiritual, physical, social and educational needs of all people in the Central Kentucky horse farm community.
