Robert LaPenta's Pies Prospect became trainer Nick Zito's fifth 3-year-old colt to win a stakes this year, as he drew off to a 5 1/2-length victory in the $50,000 Floor Show Stakes at Delaware Park Tuesday.The son of Crafty Prospector was sent off as the 9-5 favorite in the eight-horse field that included Lane's End Stakes (gr. II) winner Sinister G. With Norberto Arroyo Jr. aboard, Pies Prospect tracked the early pace set by Sinister G and longshot Minnemana, took over after turning for home and quickly drew clear, covering the 1 1/16 miles in 1:43.93. Another longshot, Gmork, finished second, two and a half lengths in front of Zakocity. Sinister G tired to finish sixth.
