Racing for Sheikh Mohammed in the Godolphin colors, Dubawi beat 11 rivals and scored by a half-length under Lanfranco Dettori over Henrik in 1:26.48 for the seven furlongs.Dubawi, who was bred in Ireland by Sheikh Mohammed's Darley operation and is trained by Saeed bin Suroor, earned £23,200 ($43,029) of the £40,000 total purse ($74,188). He not only was Dubai Millennium's first stakes winner, but also his first winner, capturing his debut June 4 at Goodwood.
