Lion Heart Returns to Saratoga; Travers Next

(from Monmouth Park notes)
Lion Heart shipped in Sunday morningto win the $1 million Haskell Invitational (gr. I) on Sunday evening. By Sunday night he was on his way home to Saratoga.

"He's doing fine. I'm very happy with him," said trainer Patrick Biancone from his Saratoga headquarters Monday morning. "He was on the van last night and everything's fine with him. He'll run next in the Travers (Aug. 28)."

Lion Heart took command from the break and was never headed as he rolled to a length victory in the Haskell, covering the mile and an eighth in 1:48 4/5. Nine-time leading Monmouth Park rider Joe Bravo was in the irons for his first victory in the Haskell.
