A native of Arkansas, Lyle attended the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith before being accepted into the Taylor Made Farm intern program in 1997. During his 18-month tenure at Taylor Made, Lyle was promoted to the position of assistant yearling manager.From 1999 to the present, Lyle worked under his mentor, Dr. Larry Bralmage, in the surgery department at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital near Lexington.
Chesapeake Farm near Lexington has hired Brian Lyle as director of customer service and Thoroughbred consultant.In April 2004, Chesapeake announced the formation of a new commercial enterprise to accommodate its expanding client base of owners and breeders.
