Chesapeake Farm Appoints Lyle to New Position

Chesapeake Farm near Lexington has hired Brian Lyle as director of customer service and Thoroughbred consultant.

In April 2004, Chesapeake announced the formation of a new commercial enterprise to accommodate its expanding client base of owners and breeders. Farm president Drew Nardiello has enlisted Lyle to assist with the daily management and administration of the operation.

"Chesapeake Farm has always prided itself on professional service and integrity, and Brian certainly fits in well with those ideals," Nardiello said. "He's a talented, enthusiastic young man who will bring a lot of energy to this position. Perhaps more importantly, he brings a wealth of practical experiences from the medical field that will serve as a unique resource for our clients."

A native of Arkansas, Lyle attended the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith before being accepted into the Taylor Made Farm intern program in 1997. During his 18-month tenure at Taylor Made, Lyle was promoted to the position of assistant yearling manager.

From 1999 to the present, Lyle worked under his mentor, Dr. Larry Bralmage, in the surgery department at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital near Lexington.
