Jones Jr.'s Walmac International near Lexington and covered 91 mares his first year and 92 his second. "Now that he has been at stud for two years, he has filled out in all the right places," said Sugar Maple manager Dan Hayden. "He is a big, handsome horse."Thunderello, who was produced from the In Reality mare On the Square, broke his maiden at Saratoga as a 2-year-old by 14 1/4 lengths and won the Gallant Bob Handicap at three. His runner-up effort in the Sprint came to champion sprinter Orientate .
