Dubai World Trade Centre Set to Launch First International Horse Fair in 2005

In line with the Dubai International Arabian Horse Championships certified by the European Conference of Arab Horse Organizations, the DIAHC Higher Organizing Committee and Dubai World Trade Centre will launch the first Dubai International Horse Fair March 27-30, 2005 at Dubai International Exhibition Centre. The event is under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, deputy ruler of Dubai and UAE minister of Finance & Industry.

"After the superb success achieved at the inaugural DIAHC 2004, the Organizing Committee would like to invite your company to participate in this International Horse Fair in 2005," said Mr. Ziad Abdullah Galadari, chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of DIAHC. The DIAHC had 229 entries and attracts 4,000 attendees annually.

The Horse Fair will open immediately after the climax of the Dubai International Racing Carnival - The World Cup, to ensure that horse and horseracing enthusiasts get an opportunity to participate both as exhibitors and visitors.

The exhibition has been endorsed by key industry associations including the Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing, Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Dubai Horse Racing Information Center, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Police, Emirates Arabian Horse Society, Emirates Horse Breeders Society, Emirates Racing Association, UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, UAE Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, Ajman Equestrian Club, Dubai Racing Club, Ghantoot Polo Club, Jebel Ali Racecourse, and Sharjah Equestrian & Racing Club.
