Exploit, who was produced from the My Dad George mare My Turbulent Miss, entered stud at the Taylor family's Taylor Made Farm near Nicholasville, Ky. He has sired five stakes winners, four of which were 2004 added-money winners.
Exploit, who ranked eighth on the 2004 second-crop sire list by progeny earnings, has been sold to South Korean breeders. The 9-year-old son of Storm Cat originally was scheduled to stand the 2005 season for a partnership at John Sykes' Cloverleaf Farms II near Ocala, Fla.Exploit sold as a weanling for $525,000 at the 1996 Keeneland November breeding stock sale, and the following year was bought back after a final bid of $1.475 million at the Keeneland September yearling sale. Racing for Robert and Beverly Lewis, Exploit won five of six races and earned $396,254. He captured the Brown & Williamson Kentucky Jockey Club (gr. II) and Iroquois (gr. III) Stakes at two and the San Vicente Stakes (gr. II) at three.
