The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association has announced that the 20th National Awards Dinner will be held Sept. 9 at the Kentucky Horse Park.
The TOBA awards honor the achievements of Thoroughbred owners in the four major North American racing regions and breeders in approximately 30 states.
Also honored at the dinner is National Breeder of the Year, National Owner of the Year, the Industry Service Award winner and New Owner of the Year, presented by The Greatest Game.
"The primary purpose of the TOBA Awards Dinner is to recognize and congratulate owners and breeders in the Thoroughbred industry," said Dan Metzger, president of TOBA. "They are the primary investors in our sport and their achievements and dedication are to be commended. By hosting the event at the Kentucky Horse Park we will be able to increase participation by more farms and vendors."
The signature entertainment for the National Awards Dinner will be announced later this spring. Previous entertainers who performed at the TOBA Dinner include Ray Charles, Clint Black, Sawyer Brown and most recently Three Dog Night.
