The Greatest Game, the Thoroughbred industry program that seeks to expand the scope of horse ownership by attracting and retaining new investors in the sport, will participate in "The Great American Horse Exposition Equine Affaire" at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio, April 7.
As part of program, Greatest Game president Gay Fisher will make two presentations at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. The first is titled "The Greatest Game: An Introduction to Thoroughbred Ownership," and the second is called "The First Step to Thoroughbred Ownership: Putting Your Racing Team Together, Including Horse Selection, Business Issues, Funding, etc."
The Great American Horse Exposition Equine Affaire features training clinics, seminars and demonstrations, commercial exhibits, and a breed pavilion that showcases most major breeds as well as several uncommon breeds. The event, which is held four times a year in different locations, will take place April 7-10.
"Being part of Equine Affaire presents a great opportunity to introduce The Greatest Game to a broad audience of people involved in, or aspiring to become part of, the horse industry," Fisher said. "Obviously our target is potential new owners, and we expect there will be lots of candidates in attendance."
