Mighty Beau Faces 10 in Aegon Turf Sprint

Mighty Beau, runner-up to Lydgate in the 2004 renewal of $100,000-added Aegon Turf Sprint (gr. IIIT), leads the line-up in the five-furlong turf sprint for older horses Friday at Churchill Downs.

The 11-horse field also includes 2002 Aegon Turf winner Testify.

The Jeff Mullins-trained Mighty Beau finished a troubled second to Soaring Free in the recent Shakertown (gr. IIIT) at Keeneland, while the 8-year-old Testify will make his first start since August for trainer Randy Morse.

Other contenders include the Tom Amoss-trained Wrzeszcz, winner of the Taylor's Special at the Fair Grounds, and Wildcat Shoes, who looks for his first grass win after a 12-length romp in an allowance race on the main track at Keeneland.
