Mozart (Danehill--Victoria Cross, by Spectacular Bid) was both England and Ireland's champion 3-year-old sprinter in 2001. He captured the Darley July Cup (Eng-I) and Victor Chandler Nunthorpe Stakes (Eng-I) and was second in the group I Entenmanns Irish Two Thousand Guineas. He died in the spring of his first season at stud in 2002 while standing at Coolmore Stud in Ireland.
The first winner sired by English and Irish champion Mozart won May 26 at Ayr in England. The colt, Amadeus Wolf, scored at six furlongs in his first start.
